You don’t have to step inside a prison to change a life. Some of the most powerful work in our ministry happens outside the walls — and we need dedicated volunteers just like you to make it happen.
We have a growing number of opportunities that can be done from your office, your kitchen table, or anywhere in between. If you have a gift, we have a place for you.
Current Outside Volunteer Opportunities Include:
- Office Assistance — Keep our ministry running smoothly behind the scenes
- Volunteer Recruiting — Connect with people who’ve expressed interest in serving
- Aftercare Assistance — Stay in touch with program graduates through letters, email, or phone
- Graphic Design — Use your creative gifts to advance God’s mission
- Newsletter Writing — Share stories of hope and transformation with our community
- Special Event Planning — Help create meaningful experiences that support our ministry
- Fundraising — Help resource the work that is changing lives every day
Volunteer From Home: Your Words Can Change Everything
One of the most meaningful things you can do — right where you are — is pray. We strongly encourage you to set aside a few hours each week to lift up the incarcerated men and women in our programs. Your prayers matter more than you know.
You can also become a pen pal. A simple letter reminding an inmate that they are seen, loved, and not forgotten by Jesus can be the spark that transforms a life. Behind those walls are real people — people who made mistakes, people who are hurting, and people who desperately need to hear that hope is still alive for them.
Remind them that Christ has not forsaken them. Remind them that their story isn’t over.
